Dr. Andrew Cichowski

Dr. Andrew Cichowski is a high-energy, board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist with a strong passion for enriching patient-centered care through technological innovation. With expertise in epilepsy, neuromuscular disease, and general neurology, he integrates advanced neurodiagnostics and evidence‑based practices with clear and compassionate communication.

Dr. Cichowski completed his Internal Medicine Internship, Neurology Residency, and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he was also an appointed Instructor in Neurology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Cichowski is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and is Board Certified in both Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology.

Dr. Cichowski's work includes building general neurology service lines, designing EEG and EMG laboratories, selecting equipment, authoring protocols, and delivering academic level diagnostics in rural community settings. He has served as the sole EEG interpreter and EMG provider within a regional hospital system, supervised technologists, optimized clinic operations, contributed to CME accredited education, and led multidisciplinary teams. Beyond clinical practice, he applies experience in electronics prototyping, computer programming, and artificial intelligence to practical innovations in diagnostics, workflow design, and patient access.

Dr. Cichowski's expertise includes advanced EEG interpretation, needle electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCSs), evoked potentials (EPs), autonomic testing (AFT), and comprehensive general neurology. He manages neuromodulation therapies, including DBS, VNS, and RNS, from patient selection through programming and longitudinal follow-up. He performs procedures such as lumbar puncture, skin punch biopsies, and therapeutic chemodenervation. As a patient advocate, he translates complex findings into plain-language, aligns care plans with patient goals, and maintains thoughtful continuity of care.

Dr. Cichowski's time outside of clinical life is spent on world travel, outdoor adventures, electronic music production, and in a darkroom developing film, plates, and prints.
